The Visionary
About 17 years ago, Anastasia Aliaksandrovich started teaching professional makeup artists. In 2013, she founded the School of Professional Makeup of Anastasia Aliaksandrovich — one of the first makeup schools in Belarus. Makeup artists came from almost all over the world: Western Europe, the USA, Canada, the Middle East, Australia, Asia, and the CIS countries.
While working, the school constantly faced difficulties in acquiring materials and tools. In Belarus, it was difficult to buy high-quality cosmetics. Most supplies were purchased in the USA and Europe. They tried the best professional cosmetics from well-known global brands, but never found one that suited them 100%.
For many years, Anastasia studied chemistry and advanced scientific discoveries in cosmetic ingredients. She conducted her own research and experiments, setting up a laboratory in her home where she spent months and years. Ingredients had to be sourced from around the world in small laboratory batches.
In early 2020, the company Cosmetic Technologies was founded in Novopolotsk, and the StasyAlex brand was born — a small startup of passionate people, created to meet the demand for the cosmetics developed by Anastasia. By early 2021, the company had broken even, and the brand began its journey to global recognition.
At the heart of the StasyAlex AMORAVES collection lies the synaesthetic perception of its author. Her ability to hear colour as a harmonious musical chord and to perceive shades through emotion allows her to translate a five-dimensional sensory experience into tangible beauty artefacts.
